Expo «de Villa Perfecta» in Girona
Exhibition with Light boxes and digital animations that explain what life was like in a Roman villa
From May 1 to September 15, 2019 you can visit the Exhibition “De villa perfecta. Living and working in the Pla de l’Horta in Roman times” in the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants in Girona. A space to show how one lived in a Roman villa of the time located inside a site that was discovered accidentally in the 1970s.
Through the Jaume Vallbona Studio and the Museum of Archaeology of Catalonia-Girona we received the order for the production and assembly of this exhibition on the same site where such a find was found.
Beginning of the exhibition.
What better way to reproduce a Roman villa than our aluminium profiling system with printed tensioned fabric to recreate and simulate those same spaces. In this way, with images printed with fabric in large format and of the highest quality, we were able to visualize how they lived and how they worked at that time.

At some points in the exhibition we place light boxes for greater contrast and include digital animations. With this type of dynamism, we have managed to give life to the images displayed in the light boxes, arousing the interest of the visiting public.
Of course, we also provided screens for audiovisual content and showcases to showcase pieces of the time, integrated into our system of frames and light boxes with fabric.
Undoubtedly, a good opportunity to discover in this exhibition as was the evolution of a Roman villa from the s. I BC to the middle of the s. V AD.
