Exhibition in Musée d’Historie et d’art de Bormes

Cajas de luz de Artplay para el Museo de Historia y Arte de Bormes

Artplay was the protagonist in the Museum of History and Art of Bormes les Mimoses, in the south of France; thanks to our client Histovery and one of his artistic and interactive exhibitions inaugurated in that museum.

Histovery, the creators of the Histopad tablet and its immersive AR experiences, we commissioned the project of creating a space to represent part of the history of Bormes les Mimoses in an interactive format and where our light boxes of small and large format will be protagonists, next to some luminous drawers and the novelty of some curved light boxes. All this to represent a unique exhibition in some rooms of the museum of history and art of this historic French town.

Development of the project by Artplay

Our production for this project has been composed of backlit light boxes, with aluminum profile, Led lighting and with stretch backlite printing.

We also created a cube-shaped luminous drawer and a round backlit box.

It should be noted the complexity of its assembly in the museum room, since most large light boxes had to be connected and supported between them, with fixation on the walls -in most cases our backlit boxes are attached to the ceiling and floor-.

Light box with a curve

We enter a new era with the manufacture of curved backlit light boxes, to further convey the immersion Histovery pursues for the augmented reality experience of its exposures with its Histopad.

The Expo with augmented reality at the MHAB

The Musée d’Historie et d’art de Bormes presented its new augmented reality experience that immerses visitors in 2400 years of history. Thanks to an immersive scenery enhanced by the impressive historical reconstructions with the HistoPad tablet, the public travels through the history of the town since ancient times.

An innovation for the Museum of History and Art that comes from the hand of Histovery, authors of “Notre-Dame de Paris, the Augmented Exhibition”, which travels the world acclaimed in the Pavilion of France during the last World Fair in Dubai.

France’s own President, Emmanuel Macron and the mayor of Bormes, François Arizzi, inaugurated the Expo just a few months ago.
